After a hard-fought battle throughout the year, Dale Ogburn was able to edge out Cody Norman (2022 Champion) by less than 15 points at Orange County Speedway.
Dale was a rookie this year in Tour Modifieds, which makes him the first rookie to win a championship in the Carolina Crate Modified Series. “My crew did an amazing job this season.
We couldn’t have asked for a better result, and Cody made me work for it all season.” Dale said. Dale is now looking forward to the 2023 CCMS Awards Banquet which will be held in Mooresville, NC, where he will finally be able to hoist his championship trophy.
