Dale Ogburn was able to secure his first win of the 2024 season on a Friday Night under the lights at Franklin County Speedway in Callaway, VA. Dale started from the front row and took an early lead on Lap 1 of the race in his Purple Heart Homes Modified. A lead that he never relinquished, maintaining P1 from start to finish. After a series of late race cautions the race was ended 4 laps short due to controversy in the pit area, and on the track between multiple drivers, teams, and track officials. Due to safety concerns the Carolina Crate Modified officials made the call to end the race.
